Loveskills Premieres video for “Chanel” via Village Voice // Album release show

Today (1/12), Loveskills has premiered the video for “Chanel”, on Village Voice. The video – directed by Yuichi Uchida, who also worked on the “Fine Lines” video – is, as the Voice describes, “woozy and endearingly hazy”, and features Latiana Blue, running in and out of the narrator’s imagination. Loveskills, Richard Spitzer, explains:

“The story is like an unobtainable dream. I’m trying to get a clear vision of this girl but the memories are too abstract and too hard to find.”

You can check out the video below, and the full premiere – including an interview with Loveskills – at the Village Voice.

Aside from the video premiere, Loveskills will be performing tonight (1/12), as part of an album release show, at Mercury Lounge, in NYC. Check out the flyer below for more details, and be sure to pick up your copy of Pure.
