Hunters Of The Alps releases debut EP ‘Time (How To Love)’

MIAMI, FL (February 17, 2017) — Today, Peruvian (now Miami-based) outfit Hunters of the Alps has released their debut EP titled Time (How to Love), out now via Mishu Records. Order the EP now HERE.

The EP premiered in full yesterday with Variance Magazine, who described the EP as, “an impeccable set of sparkling, synthy gems.” See the feature HERE.

The EP has garnered widespread critical acclaim over the past several months and it is undeniably well-deserved. The EP’s title track “Time (How To Love)” premiered with All Things Go last fall (see HERE) and the stunning official video, directed by Diego Tipacti, debuted last month with Atwood Magazine (see HERE). IMPOSE Magazine later featured a fresh single titled “It’s You,” another knockout precursor to today’s EP release. See the IMPOSE feature HERE.

Founded by lead vocalist Mario Giancarlo Garibaldi and guitarist Jorge Velásquez and later joined by Alex De Renzis on drums, the band got its name as a reference to citizens that lived in the Alps trying to unite Italy in the 1800s. Cacciatori delle Alpi is the Italian name. Jorge had made waves in the Latin Alternative music scene playing in numerous bands while Mario had for been forging his way with his indie rock project Modernage, but the desire to break away and have more creative freedom ultimately spawned Hunters of the Alps.

The band has shared the stage with artists such as Twin Shadow and Tanlines and was chosen to open for Unknown Mortal Orchestra last fall at Converse Rubber Tracks Live. They have further sharpened their live chops playing standout festivals such as III Points, Transatlantic Festival and House of Creatives.
